A FATAL SHOOTING took place Saturday night in a Santa Ana nightclub (Shutterstock).

Santa Ana police are investigating the shooting death of an 18-year-old Moreno Valley man Saturday night.

According to the SAPD, Zion Gonzalez was fatally wounded at a downtown nightclub. Officers were dispatched at 10:40 p.m. to the nightspot in the 300 block of West Fifth Street. The shooting reportedly took place during the “open mike” entertainment.

Paramedics pronounced Gonzalez dead at the scene. Santa Ana police are asking anyone with information regarding this incident to call at (714) 245-8390.
