At an otherwise a light agenda for the Huntington Beach City Council meeting tonight (Tuesday) the council will be deliberating on the approval of $250,000 towards new playground fixtures and rubberized surfacing at Booster Park on Baruna Lane.
The small-scale park is near Davenport Beach on the harbor. The swing set and playground unit for older children have reported to be in poor conditions.
The council will also vote to declare weeds and trash a nuisance on specific properties. A subsequent public hearing would also be scheduled for May 3 at 6 p.m. for objections to this decision. Litter on sidewalks, parkways, and private property would be included as a nuisance.
The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. in the council chambers at 2000 Main St. (at Yorktown Avenue) and can also be viewed via Zoom webinar on the city’s website.
