Improvements will continue to expand along Beach Boulevard, following a decision by the Stanton City Council Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, 7800 Katella Ave.

The council is expected to:

  • Approve a landscape management agreement with the California Department of Transportation for improvements adjacent to 11752 Beach Boulevard, including landscaping in a future parkway area.
  • Reconsider authorization for virtual public meetings due to COVID-19.
  • Lease two automatic license plate recognition cameras from Flock Safety for installation at Village Center Drive, where none currently exist.

Members of the public wishing to comment should fill out a request to speak card in person at the meeting. Alternatively, residents may email their comments to Pvazquez@StantonCA.gov with the subject line “PUBLIC COMMENT ITEM # (insert item number)” no later than 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.
