Two area high school baseball teams made it to the CIF-SS semifinals on Tuesday but won’t be playing in the finals.
In Division 1 play, Huntington Beach lost 2-0 to Notre Dame of Sherman Oaks. The Oilers finished the season with a 21-9 mark and placed first in the Surf League.
In Division 7, Santiago lost 8-4 to Hueneme High of Oxnard. The Cavaliers finished 17-11 and were second in the Garden Grove League.
