What’s the future for parks in Stanton?
On Tuesday, the Stanton City Council will consider approving a deal with a consultant to develop a “Parks Master Plan” to create a framework for the planning, development and maintenance of parks and maintenance facilities in the city.
The agenda item calls for a professional services agreement with RJM Design Group and an appropriation of $180,000 to pay for it. The money comes from the federal government’s American Rescue Plan Act .
The council will meet in closed session at 6 p.m. in the City Hall at 7800 Katella Ave., followed by the regular session at 6:30 p.m.
