VIDEO still from home surveillance camera (GGPD).

A suspected “porch pirate” was arrested this week by Garden Grove police and jailed on multiple charges.

According to the GGPD, Michael Biel, 23, a transient living in his car, was taken into custody on Tuesday. The suspect is believed to have followed delivered drivers while wearing an Amazon vest taken from a “real” Amazon delivery driver.

GGPD property crime detectives located Biel and while searching his vehicle, found stolen property as well as an Amazon vest.

Biel, who is a felon on probation, was also found to have a stun gun. He was arrested and booked into Orange County Jail in Santa Ana for being a felon in possession of a stun gun, possession of stolen property, multiple theft charges and violation of parole.
