A MOTORCYCLIST is dead after his motorcycle crashed in Huntington Beach (Shutterstock).

A 25-year-old Huntington Beach man is dead after the motorcycle he was riding crashed.

According to Jessica Cuchilla of the HBPD, the incident was reported around 2 a.m. Wednesday on Yorktown Avenue, west of of Waterbury Lane. 

The man had been riding a 2010 Husqvarna motorcycle. Preliminary investigation indicates the ‘cycle was traveling eastbound on Yorktown just before the crash.

It’s not known if impairment on the part of the rider was a factor.
