The CIF-SS baseball playoffs will start this week with wild card and first around action.

Here are the pairings involving eight local teams in the West Orange County area, as announced Monday by the CIF-SS office.

Division 1 (Thursday): Warren at Huntington Beach, Pacifica at Torrance

Division 2: (Friday): Crescenta Valley at Ocean View

Division 3: (Thursday): Temescal Canyon at Edison

Division 4: (Friday): Arrowhead Christian at Orange

Division 6: (Friday): Winner of Vasquez/Paramount at Loara, Los Amigos at Dunn. Santiago has a wild card game on Wednesday. If the Cavalier win against Lancaster, they will play at Jurupa Valley on Friday.p

All games are scheduled at 3:15 p.m.
