21% wage increase offered

AUTO WORKERS are on strike.

In an effort to end the strike by the United Auto Workers, Stellantis – which owns Chrysler, Jeep and Fiat – has offered a 21 percent raise for hourly workers.

The union began a series of selective strikes across three states on Friday. With the wage offer, the company also offered concessions on ending the two-tier pay structure and to improve its pension offerings.

There’s been no public response from the union, which also represents employees at General Motors and Ford.

But the Tigers won it with a run in the 10th, sending the Angels (68-81) to their fifth straight loss.
