
CORONAVIRUS numbers in Orange County in this week’s tally show a decrease in confirmed new cases and a rise in deaths (Shutterstock).
The count of confirmed new cases of coronavirus in Orange County has declined for the second week in a row, according to the latest report from the county health agency.
For the week ending Sept. 20, the Orange County Health Care Agency reported 1,134 new cases, compared to 1,477 the previous week and 1,706 the week before that.
However, deaths increased from 12 last week to 15 this week. The weekly total on Sept. 6 was 16.
To date, Orange County has had 736,969 cases of COVID-19 and 8,320 deaths
