Emergency relocations seen

STANTON CIVIC CENTER

A request to issue emergency permanent relocation benefits for eligible occupants of city-owned properties is on the agenda for Tuesday’s meeting of the Stanton City Council.

The Tina-Pacific Development affordable housing project got a one-year extension approved in August. The neighborhood currently has 18 of the 31 parcels occupied.

If approved, the city manager will use available housing authority general funds to permanently relocate eligible tenants.

The council will meet at 6:30 p.m. in its council chambers at 7800 Katella Ave. (west of Beach Boulevard).
