School closures for our West Orange County area are underway, giving teachers a break and putting extra pressure on Xboxes at home.

Garden Grove Unified School District is in its winter recess through Monday, Jan. 8. Classes resume on Tuesday, Jan. 9.

Westminster School District’s office will be closed through Jan. 2, and schools will be closed through Jan. 5.

Huntington Beach Union High School District schools and offices will be closed through Jan. 5.

Huntington Beach City School District schools are closed through Jan. 5.

Ocean View School District schools closed on Dec. 21 and will reopen on Jan. 8.

Coast Community College District campuses (Golden West College in Huntington Beach; Coastline Community College campuses in Garden Grove and Westminster) closed on Dec. 18 and intersession classes will resume on Tuesday, Jan. 2; spring semester opens on Monday, Jan.29.
