A SUSPECT is being sought in connection with an incident in which a man was stabbed and robbed in Garden Grove (Shutterstock).

The search is on for a suspect wanted in connection with a stabbing and robbery early Thursday morning in Garden Grove.

According to the GGPD, officers were dispatched to the area of Coast Street and Garden Grove Boulevard – east of Beach Boulevard – at 5:45 a.m.

Police say the victim was seated in his parked car when a “male subject” – possibly a transient – knocked on the vehicle’s window. When the driver opened the window to give him change, the suspect began stabbing him in the hand. His attacker then robbed the victim and left the area.
