An update on the Civic Center Revitalization Project tops the agenda for Tuesday’s meeting of the Garden Grove City Council.
A new two-or-three story police headquarters building is planned for the Civic Center area, currently bounded by Euclid Street, Garden Grove Boulevard, Seventh Street and Stanford Avenue.
In addition to constructing the new police HQ and adjacent parking structure, a new park is contemplated in the eastern area of the site.
Also on the agenda for Tuesday’s meeting is the second reading and adoption of an ordinance clearing the way for a 30-unit townhome project at Central Avenue and Brookhurst Street on what was long the site of the Marie Callendar’s restaurant.
The meeting will be held at the Community Meeting Center, 11300 Stanford Ave. at 6 p.m.
