All-stars and polls, etc. in today’s Prep Sport Spotlight.

This week’s CIF-SS polls as regards teams serving our cities of Garden Grove, Huntington Beach, Stanton and Westminster:

Baseball

• Division 1: Huntington Beach (fifth), Pacifica (receiving votes);
• Division 8: Rancho Alamitos (receiving votes).

Softball

• Division 1: Pacifica (first), Huntington Beach (fifth), Marina (10th).
• Divison 7: Orangewood Academy (10th), Western (14th).

As far as Orange County polls go, in baseball, Huntington Beach is fourth, Pacifica is 14th, Edison is 19th, Marina is 22nd and Ocean View is 25th.

In softball, Pacifica is first, Marina is eighth and Edison is 24th.

Here are the local basketball players that are all CIF-SS by division.

Division 2A
