A public hearing will be held at Tuesday’s meeting of the Huntington Beach City Council to consider approval of the issuing of bonds to build a senior citizen rental housing project.

A developer, Marisol HB LLC, is seeking financing for the construction of the development of the project – to be called “The Marisol” at 2120 Main St., near Garfield Street.

Although the city will have no financial obligation, its approval is required for the California Public Finance Authority to issue the requested $325,000,0000 in tax-exempt bonds.

The council will meet in its chambers at 2000 Main St. with a closed session at 3:30 p.m., a study session at 5 p.m. and the regular meeting at 6 p.m.
