THEO LACY jail facility (OCSD).

A man arrested in Huntington Beach on Saturday was found dead on the first floor of barracks at the Theo Lacy jail facility in Orange on Tuesday morning.

According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department, David N. Alcazar, 60, had been arrested by the HBPD on charges of making criminal threats, stalking and vandalism.

On Tuesday Alcazar was found suffering from injuries from an apparent suicide attempt. reports the OCSD. Deputies and medical staff attempted life-saving measures.

Alcazar was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. A final cause of death will be determined after an independent autopsy is conducted and toxicology reports are completed.

The death with be investigated by the Orange County District Attorney’s office. and the OCSD will conduct its own review.
