Garden Grove man and woman are held in Anaheim murder

A MAN and a woman from Garden Grove are being held in connection with a murder in Anaheim (Shutterstock).

Two Garden Grove residents are facing charges related to the murder of a man in Anaheim in June.
According to the APD, Christopher Do, 35, is accused of the murder of Tien Luu, 65. Accused of accessory to murder is Brittany Vidal, 37.

On June 15, Garden Grove police responded to Garden Grove Hospital in regard to Luu, who had been dropped off suffering from injuries consistent with an assault.

The investigation revealed that Luu had been assaulted inside a home in the 1800 block of W. Bernardy Place in Anaheim.

APD detectives took over the case. Luu succumbed to his injuries on June 22.

A lengthy investigation identified Do and Vidal as suspects in the killing and they were located in Houston. With the help of the Houston Police Department, Vidal was taken into custody on Sept. 2, 2025 on a warrant for accessory to murder and Do on Sept. 3 on a warrant for murder.

They were extradited to California and are in Orange County Jail in Santa Ana waiting trial. They are being held without bail.
