Another fatal PCH crash

ANOTHER fatal crash has taken place on PCH in Huntington Beach (Shutterstock).

Another fatal accident has taken place on Pacific Coast Highway in Huntington Beach.

According to Jessica Cuchilla, public information officer for the HBPD, the incident took place around 2:15 a.m. on Monday on PCH south of Warner Avenue. T he collision was between a black Ford Expedition sport utility vehicle and a white Audi Q5 sedan

Arriving police officers found the driver of the Expedition, a 44-year-old man from Sunnyvale. He was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.

The driver of the Audi, a 29-year-old Huntington Beach man, had suffered major injuries. Paramedics were called to the scene, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Ford cooperated with investigators and impairment does not appear to be a factor.

Based on the preliminary investigation, the Expedition was traveling northbound on PCH when the Q5 struck the Ford from behind, south of Warner Avenue.
