“Celebrating Our Nation’s 250th Anniversary” will be the theme of the 66th Annual Garden Grove Strawberry Festival, which will take place on Memorial Day weekend, May 22-25 at the Village Green park.
“Our theme this year celebrates the heart of our nation: its history, its people and the vibrant cultures that define us,” said Steve Sanders, president of the festival association. “As we recognize our country’s 250th year, we’re proud to honor the shared heritage that brings our community together.”
Officers of the festival association this year are Sanders (president and in charge of rides and grounds), Tony Lopez (immediate past president/non-profit food booths), George Skelton (treasurer) and Rachelle Gillerman (secretary/opening ceremony/cake cutting).
