A study session on the rights and responsibilities of tenants and landlords is scheduled for Tuesday’s meeting of the Stanton City Council.

Among the points would be limits on annual rent increases, the rights of landlords to enter rental units and rules regarding deposits.

The recommended action by the council is to direct staff to create a webpage on the city’s website on those matters with links to state resources.

Also on the agenda will be a co-sponsorship of the city with the Stanton Lions Club for the annual Stanton Car Show scheduled for May 16 at Stanton Central Park. The city will sponsor with an in-kind contribution with a value of $723.

The council will meet in its chambers at 7800 Katella Ave. at 6:30 p.m.
