The Los Angeles Rams survived another nail-biter and a Chicago snowstorm to defeat the Chicago Bears in a NFC Divisional Playoff Game 20-17 in overtime on Sunday night and advance to the NFC Championship Game on Jan. 28.
Harris Mavis hit a 42-yard field goal at 1:32 to lift the visiting Rams to the win and a rematch with the NFC West Division champion rival Seattle Seahawks in Washington State.
Matthew Stafford completed 20 passes in 42 attempts for 258 yards but was sacked four times. Kyren Williams led the Rams in rushing with 87 yards on 21 carries, scoring twice.
The Rams defense intercepted the Bears’ Caleb Williams three times, with the key steal coming from Kam Curl in overtime. He also made seven tackles.
Caleb Williams completed 23 of 42 passes for 257 yards and two scores but was intercepted three times. He also rushed for 40 yards.
The Rams (now 14-5 overall) and Seahawks (15-3) have played twice this season, with each team winning once by narrow margins.
