EIGHT LOCAL girls’ basketball teams are in the CIF-SS playoffs (Shutterstock).

Eight local teams have qualified for the CIF-SS girls’ basketball playoffs starting this week.
These are for schools serving the cities of Garden Grove, Huntington Beach, Stanton and Westminster.
The playoffs will start on Thursday, Feb. 12 with the second round on Saturday, Feb. 14.
• Division 2: Huntington Beach (20-8) at Wiseburn DaVinci.
• Division 4: Shalhevet at Bolsa Grande (21-3); St. Genevieve at Marina (15-13).
• Division 7: Garden Grove (16-12) at Kaiser.
• Division 8: Orange (11-11) at Cal Military; Westminster (6-21) at Pacific Christian.
• Division 9: Valley Christian at Rancho Alamitos (8-15); Western (6-12) at Avalon.
