Clips get clipped, Lakers roll

Friday night’s NBA action was a split decision, as far as Los Angeles-Orange County fans were concerned.

The Los Angeles Lakers bested the Indiana Pacers 128-117, but the Los Angeles Clippers fell 116-112 to the San Antonio Spurs.

The Clips held a 66-46 lead at halftime, but the second half was all San Antonio.

Kawhi Leonard led the Clippers with 30 points, nine rebounds and three assists. Jordan Miller added 11 points, two rebounds and six assists.

Victor Wembanyama starred for the Spurs with 27 points and 10 rebounds. De’Aaron Fox had 19 points, two rebounds and nine assists.
With the loss, LAC is 30-32 and ninth in the NBA Western Conference, as well as fourth in the Pacific Division.

The Clips will next play Memphis on Saturday, then the New York Knicks on Monday.
As for the Lakers, Luka Doncic was almost unstoppable as he scored 44 points, grabbed nine rebounds and had five assists in a 128-117 victory over the Indiana Pacers.

With the win, the Lakers are 38-25, good for sixth place in the NBA Western Conference and first in the NBA Pacific.

Next for them will be a game Sunday against the Knicks.
