A team effort of three firefighting agencies quickly knocked out a fire last week in Huntington Beach.

According to the Huntington Beach Fire Department, it was assisted by the Costa Mesa and Fountain Valley fire departments in fighting the blaze in the 19000 block of Bethel Circle, located northwest of Yorktown Avenue and Newland Street.

On Friday afternoon, arriving firefighters found heavy smoke and fire coming from a home. Firefighters quickly knocked down the fire, making sure it did not extend throughout the house.

After the fire was extinguished, HBFD investigators arrived to seek to determine the cause and origin of the fire. There were no injuries.

The HBFD thanks the Costa Mesa and Fountain Valley fire departments for their assistance.
