Remember the old song, “Smoke Gets in Your Eyes”? Some smoke hit a home in the 11000 block of Morgan Lane in Garden Grove on Friday at around 2 p.m.

According to the Orange County Fire Authority – which provides fire and paramedic services for Garden Grove, but also Stanton and Westminster – fire crews quickly extinguished the fire while making certain there were no occupants.

The blaze was stopped from spreading to other units behind the house and other residences and there were no injuries to firefighters or civilians.
