The Westminster High Lions football team will be opening its 2026 season in just a few weeks.

The red-and-black will visit the Sunny Hills Lancers on Friday, Aug. 21.

WHS is coming off a 3-7 season overall in 2025, finishing with a 1-4 mark in the Kappa League. This season the Lions will be in the Lambda League, with Calvary Chapel/Santa Ana , Fountain Valley, Sonora, Valencia and Woodbridge.
