A fire that broke out shortly after midnight did an estimated $500,000 damage to a a dental lab in Garden Grove. According to Capt. Thanh Nguyen of the Garden Grove Fire Department, the blaze was reported at the lab in the 7400 block of Garden Grove Boulevard.
Arriving firefighters were confronted with much smoke and fire, but knocked in down within 20 minutes and kept it from spreading to adjoining businesses. A GGFD fire investigator determined the cause of the fire to be electrical and accidental.
There were no injuries and the damage to the structure was put at $200,000 and contents at $300,000.
