THREE BROTHERS were hospitalized Thursday morning after a knife fight that followed a family argument in Garden Grove.

A family fight among three brothers in Garden Grove resulted in three brothers being hospitalized early Thursday morning. According to Lt. Bob Bogue of the Garden Grove Police Department, officers were called to a home in the 12900 block of Dale Street at 2:21 a.m. regarding a knife fight.

Arriving officers found that three brothers of Arab descent had suffered multiple stab wounds to their hands, chest and the back of the head. Two were taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange, while the third was taken to Garden Grove Medical Center. All three were treated for their stab wounds, but one was placed in an induced come because of the degree of blood loss.

The cause of the incident appears to be a family argument, according to Lt. Bogue, but “there is a language barrier that is slowing the investigation.” The names of those involved were not released.
