A ONE-CAR accident in Garden Grove Saturday morning sent one man to the hospital (GGFD photo).

One person was hospitalized in a traffic mishap Saturday morning in Garden Grove. According to Capt. Thanh Nguyen of the Garden Grove Fire Department, the GGFD responded to a report of a single vehicle accident just before 9 a.m. in the 14000 block of Lake Street.

Arriving firefighters found a vehicle resting on its roof in the middle of the streets with two passengers trapped inside. The two were extricated. One was treated at the scene and taken to UCI Medical Center with moderate injuries. The other refused treatment.

The cause of the accident is under investigation by the Garden Grove Police Department.
