
THE ANNUAL “SHOWCASE OF BANDS” for Garden Grove district schools is set for Wednesday at Bolsa Grande Stadium in Garden Grove.
The annual “Showcase of Bands” with student musicians from seven high schools in the Garden Grove Unified School District will be held on Wednesday at 6 p.m. at Bolsa Grande High School.
Tickets for the exhibit are $7 at the gate. Admission is free for children 12 and under. In addition to the high school bands, students from McGarvin and Alamitos elementary schools will perform “The Star-Spangled banner.

GET MOTIVATED AND LUNCH
Tracy Miller will be the guest speaker at the Westminster Chamber of Commerce at its Lunch Connection on Tuesday from 12-1:15 p.m. at the Goldenwest Diner, located at Goldenwest Street and Garden Grove Boulevard.
Miller is an assistant district attorney and prosecutor for the County of Orange and is also an interview coach and motivational speaker. Tickets at the door are $23 for members (plus two business cards) and $28 for visitors (plus two business cards).
GET FIT AND NETWORKED
“Fitness for Everyone” will be the theme of the Garden Grove Chamber of Commerce Business Breakfast set for Thursday at the Marie Callendar’s, 12352 Brookhurst St. Check-in and networking is from 7:20 to 7:40 a.m.; the presentation by Ronnie Encina, a UFC fitness director, will be from 7:40 to 8:30 a.m.
