THREE LOCAL teams posted wins in high school basketball action Tuesday.

The Edison High boys’, Orangewood Academy and Ocean View girls’ basketball teams posted wins on Tuesday night. The Chargers defeated Brea Olinda 64-52 and the Spartans beat Lakewood 68-40. The Seahawks bested the California of Math and Sciences 46-30.

Top scorers for teams in the Garden Grove-Huntington Beach-Westminster area on Tuesday among boys were Matt Nguyen of Westminster (22 points), Chris Robertson of Santiago (21), Randall Walker of Edison (18) and Uriel Bautista (17).

Top scorers for girls were Carolina Montes (18) and Estafina Giner (17), both of Orangewood Academy.
