The Anaheim Ducks clung to second place in the NHL Pacific Division despite a 6-2 loss to the Dallas Stars on the road Tuesday night. Ryan Getlzaf and Corey Perry scored for the Ducks, whose record is 15-10-5, good for 35 points. That’s tied with the Edmonton Oilers for the runner-up slot.
It was Getzlaf’s third goal of the season and Perry’s seventh.
Anaheim actually led 2-1 going into the third period until the Stars scored five unanswered goals to win going away. Next up for the Ducks is a game in Boston on Thursday against the Bruins (16-12-2).
