BRANDON COLEMAN scored 31 points to lead Garden Grove’s boys’ basketball team to its ninth win of the season.

Brandon Coleman scored 31 points to lead Garden Grove High’s boys’ basketball team to a 74-53 win over Magnolia Tuesday night. The Argonauts are 9-4 and have the most wins of any team from the area, except Pacifica ‘s boys’ and girls’ teams, who have 11 and 12 wins respectively.

Top scorers Tuesday night were Coleman of Garden Grove with 31 points, Uriel Bautista of Orangewood with 27, and Frankie Wade Sanchez of Huntington Beach girls with 27. Also scoring well were Anthony Nguyen of La Quinta with 24 points and Matthew Bautista of Rancho Alamitos with 24.
