A WOMAN suffered major injuries when struck by a vehicle in the Sigler Park area of Westminster.

A woman was seriously injured when struck by a vehicle around midnight in the Sigler Park area of Westminster, according to police.

The woman was walking on the Olive Street side of the park when hit, and suffered major injuries. She was treated at the scene and taken to an area trauma center.

The motorist involved cooperated with police and was released from the scene. Anyone with information about the accident is asked to contact WPD traffic investigators at (714) 898-3315.
