KIDS ART ON EXHIBIT IN GG
The 2017 Exhibit of the Arts will be presented on Thursday, Jan. 12 from 6-7 p.m. in the Courtyard Center, 12732 Main St., Garden Grove by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Garden Grove.
On display with be fine arts and digital photography created by members of the BGCGG. Light refreshments will be served.
The courtyard center is located in the Village Green Park just west of Euclid Street and north of Acacia Parkway.
FREE BUS RIDES ON NEW YEARS
The Orange County Transit Authority is offering free bus rides from 6 p.m. on New Year’s Eve to 2:30 a.m. on New Year’s Day, Jan. 1. Passengers planned a bus ride are encouraged to use the online trip planner in advance at octa.net or by calling (714) 636-7433.
Last year, nearly 7,000 riders took advantage of the free service and over 135,000 since it began in 2002.
LUNCH CONNECTION AT RODRIGO’S
The monthly Lunch Connection of the Westminster Chamber of Commerce will take place on Tuesday, Jan. 17 from 12-1:15 p.m. at the Rodrigo’s Mexican Grill, located at 15101 Goldenwest St. in Huntington Beach, just across Bolsa Avenue from Westminster Mall.
Check-in and networking will start at 11:30 a.m.
HB COUNCIL’S JANUARY SCHEDULE
The city council meeting normally scheduled in Huntington Beach for Jan. 3 has been cancelled due to the holidays and limited business. The next meeting will be on Tuesday, Jan. 17. The meeting was moved to the third Tuesday of the month due to observance of the Martin Luther King Holiday.
