It’s been wet week and – with the exception of a few pauses – rain will continue to drench most of Orange County for several more days. Precipitation, some of it quite heavy on Friday, snarled traffic, flooded streets and had a hand in several auto accidents in the Garden Grove-Huntington Beach-Westminster area.
The weather was in the mid- to-high Fifties Friday during the day with a predicted low Friday night in the Forties. More rain and wind is expected at night. There should be a break on Saturday with some son and a high of 60 degrees. However, the rain is expected to resume Saturday night with a 70 percent chance of the wet stuff, according to the National Weather Service. That’s followed by a predicted period of heavy wind and rain on Sunday.
Monday has a 100 percent chance of rain, changing to partly cloudy on Tuesday. From Wednesday on, it should be mostly sunny conditions through the end of the month.
