Three people were injured and two hospitalized when a car drove into a bakery in Westminster on Wednesday around 11 a.m.

According to the Orange County Fire Authority, a Lexus sedan crashed into the business in the 9400 block of Edinger Ave. near Brookhurst Street.

The driver suffered minor injuries and two people dining inside the building were taken to local hospitals, with one in critical condition, according to reports.

An investigation into the cause of the accident is underway.
