SUSPECTS ARE being sought in the attempted murder of a Stanton man in Garden Grove Wednesday night,

Police are searching for suspects in the attempted murder of a Stanton man in Garden Grove Wednesday night. According to the GGPD, the incident took place around 8:17 p.m. in the 9500 block of Maureen Drive.

Arriving officers found the victim, a 32-year-old man, lying on the ground in front of an apartment complex. He had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was assisted by police officers and stabilized by Garden Grove Fire Department paramedics. He was taken to an area hospital where he was listed in serious condition and undergoing surgery.

The suspects are described as two male Hispanics. The motive is unknown and it’s not certain if the incident is gang-related. The Orange County Crime Lab is assisting in the investigation.
