One person was hospitalized and a cat died as the result of a fire at a mobile home in Westminster on Wednesday.
According to Capt. Larry Kurtz, public information officer for the Orange County Fire Authority, the blaze was at the home in the 14000 block of Magnolia Street. Two adults were displaced and one person taken to a local hospital.
Twenty-four firefighters from the OCFA, Garden Grove and Huntington Beach were involved in containing and extinguishing the fire. The cause is under investigation.
