15 LOCAL prep teams were recognized in CIF-SS polls issued on Monday.

Fifteen local high school sports teams were recognized in CIF-SS winter sports polls released on Monday.

In boys’ basketball, these teams were ranked:

• Division 3AA: Ocean View fifth
• Division 4AA: Pacifica eighth, Santiago ninth
• Division 4A: Orangewood 13th
• Division 5AAA: Garden Grove first; La Quinta 10th, Orange 13th

In girls’ basketball:

• Division 2A: Edison 13th

In girls’ water polo:

• Divisions 1 and 2: Huntington Beach 13th
• Division 6: Garden Grove, unranked but received votes
• Division 7: Los Amigos fourth

In girls’ soccer:

• Division 3: Pacifica third
• Division 5: Garden Grove third

In boys’ soccer:

• Division 1: Edison ninth
• Division 4: Garden Grove third.
