Two robbers held up an adult business in Garden Grove early Tuesday morning. The clerk was assaulted and the suspects fled with an unknown amount of money from the cash register.
According to the GGPD, police were called to the Garden of Eden, 12061 Garden Grove Blvd., a block west of Harbor Boulevard at 12:50 a.m.
One suspect entered the store and spoke to the clerk, asking about a product on display. Then the other suspect walked in armed with a handgun and went behind the counter where the clerk was standing.
Money was demanded from the employee, who complied. But the suspect “became violent with the clerk and hits him on the top of his head with the gun.” The robbery suspects then fled the store out of the south door.
The suspects are described as:
- a male Hispanic, 40, with a shaved head. He was last seen wearing a white and grey checkered shirt and armed with a black semiautomatic handgun, and;
- a male Hispanic, 40, 5-feet, 11-inches tall, with a mustache. He was last seen wearing a hooded sweatshirt.
