Suspects sought in 7-11 armed robbery

TWO MEN are sought in the armed robbery of a store in Garden Grove.

Two suspects are being sought in the armed robbery of a convenience store in Garden Grove early Monday morning.

According to Sgt. Charlie Loffler, the incident took place at a 7-11 located at 12971 Nelson St., with the call coming in at 12:43 a.m.

After the suspects entered the store, the clerk confronted one suspect about stealing an item. That suspect placed the item on the counter, but the second suspect pointed a black revolver at the clerk.

The first suspect then jumped the store counter and took an unknown amount of cash from the register. Both suspects then fled the store on foot north to Pearl Street and then west in a 1990s sedan. No one was injured.

The wanted men are described as:

• a male Hispanic, 18 to 25 years old, 5-foot, 7-inches tall, 130 lbs., unshaven, wearing a black or grey hooded sweatshirt, a black T-shirt and a black baseball cap.

• a male Hispanic, 18 to 25 years old, 5-foot,5 inches tall, 120 lbs., wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, a black baseball cap and carrying a black revolver.
