EIGHT local sports teams got CIF-SS rankings in the final polls for spring sports.

Eight high school sports teams from the Garden Grove-Huntington Beach-Westminster area were ranked in the CIF-SS final polls for spring sports as released on Monday. Some playoffs are underway and the balance will be beginning this week.

BASEBALL

Division 1: Huntington Beach (second)

Division 3: Pacifica (sixth)

Division 4: La Quinta (eighth)

Division 5: Rancho Alamitos (fourth)

Division 7: Bolsa Grande (fourth).

SOFTBALL

Division 1: Huntington Beach (eighth).

BOYS’  TENNIS

Division 2: Bolsa Grande (second)

Division 5: Orange (eighth).
