The missing HB woman is located

A 25-YEAR-OLD woman is missing and the public’s help is asked by the Huntington Beach Police Department.

UPDATE: The missing woman was located at 10:45 a.m. Friday.

Huntington Beach police are asking the public’s help in locating a missing person. According to Officer Angela Bennett of the HBPD, the person sought is Mireya Rodriguez, 25, who has an estimated mental age of 7.


She was reported missing at about 8:30 p.m. Thursday and had been missing from Central Park for two hours.

She is described as Hispanic, with brown hair and about 5-feet, 2-inches tall, 144 lbs. She  was wearing a black Nike zippered sweatshirt with an OVHS (Ocean View High School) logo on the front, a white tank top, black jeans and black Converse shoes with white soles.

Rodriguez was last seen in the area of Gothard Street and Slater Avenue, south of the park. She speaks English and Spanish, but she may not seek help on her own.

Anyone with information on the woman’s location is asked to call the HBPD at (714) 960-8825 or by calling 911.
