Orange High’s football team, which made it to the state championship game last season, added another victory to its resume for 2018 with a high-scoring 38-24 win over Canyon High of Anaheim Thursday night.
The Panthers (2-1) showed off an impressive running game, with three rushers gaining over 100 yards. Issac Galvan ran for 213 yards and two scores.
Dylan Moses had 119 yards and a TD, while Miguel Orendain added 110 yards.
However, the game wasn’t quite as much of a rout as it may seem. Canyon (now 0-4) led 24-18 at one point, and the Panthers had to rally to get the win.
Orange will be back in action next Friday, Sept. 14, visiting Westminster (0-3)
