One More Productions got a new lease on “live,” and pedestrians and cyclists will be getting clearer paths, the Garden Grove City Council decided Tuesday night.
The council voted 7-0 to approve a new 10-year lease on the “live” performances staged by OMP at the Gem Theater on Main Street in Garden Grove. The venerable theater, whose origins go back almost a century, is now the home of musicals and musical comedy such as “Damn Yankees” and the recent “The Producers.
Also on Tuesday the council voted unanimously to approve the proposed general plan amendment adopting a master plan for bicycle and pedestrian transportation which will call for more bike and walking paths and lanes throughout the city.
Additionally, the 2018 Economic Development Strategic Plan was presented to the council.
