History, parking fines on council agenda

HUNTINGTON BEACH City Council meets on Monday evening (Orange County Tribune photo).

A full agenda will greet the Huntington Beach City Council when it meets on Monday.

Among the items on the agenda will be:

  • an agreement providing property tax relief for the owners of qualified historic properties to use the savings to preserve that property.
  • adoption of fines and penalties for violations of regulations regarding the parking of oversized vehicles, with fines starting at $82 and ranging up to $246 per offense.
  • changes in the Huntington Beach Business Improvement District.
  • an ordinance creating a Harbor Commission.

The council will meet in its chambers at 2000 Main St. (at Yorktown Avenue) at 6 p.m.
