West Haven reservoirs near West Haven Park, at 12252 West St. in Garden Grove, are set to undergo rehabilitation beginning Monday, Jan. 28 through August. Park goers are advised that West Haven Park will be closed during the rehabilitation project. Temporary construction fencing will be installed.

The rehabilitation consists of two, 10 million gallon reservoirs, and includes various repairs, construction of seismic curb, roof waterproofing, and the addition of a fall protection system for the reservoirs. Site specific improvements include replacement of butterfly valves, flap gate, asphalt and concrete work, sump vault lids and hatches, installation of steel picket perimeter fence around West Haven Park, and other restoration tasks.

The $4,464,635 project was awarded by the Garden Grove City Council on Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2018 to Pacific Hydrotech Corporation. The project is funded by the Water Enterprise Fund.
