A MAN was killed in a one-car accident early Sunday morning in Huntington Beach.

A man was killed in a one-vehicle traffic accident early Sunday morning in Huntington Beach.

According to the HBPD, the crash took place in the area of Warner Avenue and Brightwater Drive around 1:49 a.m. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene from “significant injuries.”

Police say that “it’s unknown if alcohol is a factor at this time.”  Preliminary indications are that the driver was traveling east on Warner Avenue when his vehicle struck a curb and went out of control. The name, age and other information was not available as of this post.
